ASH Ireland is involved in networks at both a national and international level.
European Network for Smoking Prevention:
ASH Ireland is a member of the European Network for Smoking Prevention (ENSP), an international non-profit making organisation created in 1997.
The mission of the ENSP is to develop a strategy for coordinated action among organisations active in tobacco control in Europe by sharing information and experience, and through coordinated activities and joint projects.
The aim is to create greater coherence among smoking prevention activities and to promote comprehensive tobacco control policies at both the national and European level.

Medical Research Charities Group:
The Medical Research Charities Group (M.R.C.G.) is an alliance of charities that fund and promote biomedical research in Ireland.
The alliance formed in 1998 to:
- Promote biomedical research in Ireland
- Generate greater resources
- Encourage and support biomedical research
The M.R.C.G is an important forum, which allows members to discuss common concerns, communicate and network with each other, and to consider emerging matters and present a unified voice in response.
There are currently 18 member charities covering a wide spectrum of research charities, including ASH Ireland.

Health Promoting Hospitals:
ASH Ireland is an associate member of the Irish National Health Promoting Hospitals Network (I.N.H.P.H.).
Its mission is to support hospitals in the attainment of health gain for all.
Objectives of the network include:
- To facilitate and encourage cooperation and exchange of experience between hospitals, including the identification of areas of common interest, the sharing of resources and the development of common evaluation systems.
- To introduce health promotion into the culture of hospitals.
- To broaden the focus of hospital management and structures to include the promotion of health, not just curative care.
- To develop documented and evaluated examples of good practice for the use of other institutions.
- To identify areas of common interest in which to develop programmes and evaluation procedures.
